Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Machine Learning Lead Software Engineer within the Governance & Controls Technology AI/ML team. The role focuses on designing and delivering trusted AI/ML products in a secure, scalable manner across multiple business functions.

You will lead a team of ML and MLOps engineers, develop automated deployment pipelines, and optimize generative models for NLP tasks such as summarization and text generation while staying ahead of AI trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in applied AI/ML engineering with production models.
• Proficiency in Python for model development and OpenAI API integration.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and ML engineers to prioritize use cases.
• Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML/LLM/GenAI solutions to meet business objectives.
• Mentor ML and MLOps engineers and manage automated model deployment pipelines.
• Tune generative models for NLP tasks like summarization and text generation.
• Evaluate models, iterate architectures, and improve performance in NLP applications.
• Monitor model performance in real time and communicate results to stakeholders.
