Job summary

ICS.AI Limited is seeking a Lead AI Developer in West Wales (preferred) to provide technical leadership across product and delivery projects. You will bridge client requirements with technical delivery, contributing hands-on in .NET/C#, Azure, and Generative AI while mentoring the team.

The role balances architecture, design, and client-facing work to deliver secure, scalable AI solutions. We offer flexible/remote options, a strong pension, generous holiday, and a work-from-home allowance.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software development with C# and .NET.
• Experience delivering product development and client-facing projects.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into viable solutions.
• Strong Azure-based and Generative AI project experience.
• Experience mentoring developers within delivery teams.
• Excellent communication, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• Professional Azure, .NET or Project Management certifications.

Responsibilities

• Capture and document business requirements from client stakeholders.
• Translate workflows into technical designs and backlog items.
• Assess viability against business needs, budgets, constraints.
• Provide technical leadership across programmes and projects.
• Contribute to hands-on development in .NET, C#, Azure, and React.
• Mentor developers and enforce coding standards.
• Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, and prioritisation.
• Oversee code reviews, unit testing, and QA.
• Support cloud-first delivery across Azure, Power Platform, and M365.
