You will guide robotics, AI, and data infrastructure to accelerate plant transformation workflows with reproducible results.

Qualifications

• PhD in Plant Biology or related field; essential for leading research.
• Experience in crop transformation enabling technologies would be advantageous.
• Strong leadership, communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide plant sciences SME to design, develop and implement automated robotic systems for transformation and tissue culture workflows.
• Co-develop computer vision systems for the transformation pipeline and validate phenotyping; lead data strategy for models.
• Partner with AIR and data teams to build robust data pipelines for predictive modelling in high-throughput workflows.
• Provide scientific and project leadership within a matrix team and ensure delivery of milestones.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines and reporting for deployable products.
• Engage stakeholders across teams to ensure transparent communication and progress reporting.
