Job summary

HelloKindred in the United Kingdom is seeking a Lead Agentic AI Architect to define enterprise AI architecture for autonomous workflows and GenAI platforms. You will guide design decisions, governance, and delivery across regulated environments, partnering with executives to align AI strategy with business goals.

The role requires hands-on leadership, deep experience with LLMs, RAG, and cloud AI platforms, and the ability to deliver scalable, secure AI solutions in complex settings.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of software engineering and leadership experience.
• 8+ years delivering AI/ML platforms in production.
• Proven track record with Agentic AI, LLMs, and GenAI at scale.
• Strong background in regulated industries such as finance or healthcare.
• Experience leading large engineering teams and transformations.
• Expertise in multi-agent systems, RAG, and AI governance.
• Hands-on with Azure/AWS/GCP AI stacks and cloud platforms.
• Proficient in Python, Java, TypeScript, and SQL.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, IaC, Kubernetes, and security guardrails.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the enterprise architecture for Agentic AI platforms and autonomous workflows.
• Design multi-agent systems with reasoning, planning, memory, and tool integration.
• Architect GenAI solutions including RAG, intelligent search, and knowledge assistants.
• Establish AI engineering standards: LLMOps, MLOps, governance, observability and security.
• Lead technology selection across LLMs, orchestration, vector stores and cloud platforms.
• Drive scalable, compliant enterprise AI adoption with business value.
• Provide technical leadership to architects, engineers, data scientists and stakeholders.
• Partner with executives to shape AI strategy, roadmaps and investments.
