Job summary

NHS Scotland in Forth Valley is seeking an advanced pharmacist to lead a team delivering pharmaceutical care to patients within Primary Care in a GP cluster. You will lead service delivery at cluster level and play an active role in training staff as well as contributing to the Pharmacotherapy Service.

You will work clinically autonomously with responsibility for decisions, including where there is risk and limited evidence.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacist with clinical autonomy and independent decision-making ability.
• Experience in service development and primary care is desirable.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities for staff development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team delivering pharmaceutical care at GP cluster level.
• Deliver high-quality Pharmacotherapy Service and train other staff.
• Collaborate with hospital, community pharmacy colleagues and care homes for seamless care.
• Travel across the service delivery area as required.
• Engage in CPD and professional development activities.
