Job summary

Bath Rugby is seeking a Lead Academy Analyst to deliver high-quality performance analysis across the club's Academy pathway and University of Bath partnership.

This role combines video, data, and performance evidence to provide actionable insights for player development and coach decision-making, while leading student interns and driving best practice across the Academy performance analysis programme.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering performance analysis in rugby or a high-performance team sport.
• Ability to translate video and data into actionable coaching insights.
• Excellent organisational skills with multiple priorities management.
• Experience coordinating interns or placement students is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Deliver filming, coding, and post-match analysis across Academy age groups and University partnership.
• Capture and analyse training, fixtures, and development events.
• Provide performance insights to support IDPs and coaching decisions.
• Lead analysis provision and mentor interns, coordinating delivery across sites.
