Job summary

Gi Group (United Kingdom) is recruiting a Warehouse Supervisor for a brand-new warehouse operation in Foston, Derbyshire. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 12:00pm–9:00pm, with immediate start and £13.00 per hour.

You will supervise warehouse operatives, allocate workloads, help develop processes, monitor productivity, and ensure safety. The ideal candidate has prior warehouse supervisory or team-leader experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a proactive approach.

• Previous experience in a Warehouse Supervisor or Team Leader role.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and supporting warehouse operatives throughout the shift.
• Allocating workloads and ensuring daily targets are met.
• Assisting in developing and implementing warehouse processes and procedures.
• Monitoring productivity and maintaining high operational standards.
• Supporting goods-in, goods-out, and stock control activities.
• Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed.
• Conducting team briefings and providing ongoing support and training.
• Working closely with management to support the continuous development of the warehouse operation.
• Leading by example and providing hands-on support where required.
