Job summary

SwiftCruit is seeking a Senior Manager to lead day-to-day delivery of Managed Cyber Defence services. You will oversee Analysis and Engineering teams, ensuring 24/7 client-facing cyber defence capability, stability, and continuous improvement across detection, response, and automation.

You will drive use of AI and automation, manage complex incidents, and coordinate across Azure, Defender, Sentinel and XDR platforms to maintain high service levels and resilient client environments.

Qualifications

• Experience embedding AI tooling within a SOC environment.
• Experience leading Analysis and Engineering teams in live security services.
• Experience in SOC, XDR, or managed security environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations across Analysis and Engineering teams delivering Managed Cyber Defence services.
• Ensure service stability, performance, and quality across client environments; act as senior escalation point.
• Manage prioritisation and workload across teams; lead complex client incidents and investigations.
• Own and optimise the security technology stack (Microsoft Sentinel/Defender); drive AI/automation use in SOC.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and work with automation teams.
• Oversee operational reporting and client interactions related to service delivery and performance.
• Provide technical leadership and drive continuous improvements in detection, response and SOC metrics (MTTD, MTTR, automation).
