Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is inviting applications for a 0.6 FTE fixed-term maternity leave cover in Clydebank. The post involves psychiatry input for adults with learning disability within a multidisciplinary team, based in Clydebank and serving West Dunbartonshire HSCP.

Applicants must be GMC registered with license to practice and ideally hold a CCT in Learning Disability Psychiatry or be within 6 months of completion. Salary is pro rata for part-time hours and the shift is 9am-5pm.

Qualifications

• GMC registration and licence to practice in the UK.
• CCT in Psychiatry of Learning Disability or near completion (within 6 months).

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric input to a multidisciplinary team of health and social care professionals.
• Contribute to patient pathways and clinical governance across NHSGGC.
• Engage in CPD and medical audit programmes related to learning disability psychiatry.
