Working experience within a busy LCV Workshop

Up-to-date knowledge of current repair methods

Job description

We are recruiting on behalf of our Automotive dealership Client for a LCV Technician / Van Technician based in the Leicester area.

Benefits

• Starting wage: £17-18 per hour (rising to £20-21 after diagnostic training)
• £47,000 average earnings with shift allowance and Saturdays (£54,000 after training)
• Additional overtime available at time and a half
• Rotating 2‑week shift pattern:
  • Week 1: 06:00‑15:30 (Mon‑Fri)
  • Week 2: 14:00‑00:00 (Mon‑Thu) / 14:30‑22:00 (Fri)
• 2 Saturdays per month paid at time and a half rate
• 15% late‑shift premium applied to afternoon/evening weeks
• Ongoing IRTEC and Manufacturer training provided

Responsibilities

• General Servicing
• Repair of Vehicle Defects
• MOT preparation and repair work
• Vehicle Inspection
• Completion of associated paperwork

Requirements

• Fully Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent as a LCV Technician / Van Technician
• Working experience within a busy LCV Workshop
• Have an up‑to‑date knowledge of current repair methods
• Driving licence is essential
• Salary: £47,000 basic with OTE of £55,000
