Your Responsibilities as an LCV Technician

• Carry out major and minor repairs to light goods vehicles and trailers.
• Perform all required inspection and preventive maintenance services.
• Work with the team to accurately diagnose faults and plan necessary repair work.
• Provide breakdown and repair services to clients on the road in case of emergencies.
• Maintain accurate records for all vehicles repaired and complete necessary paperwork, including warranty claims.
• Ensure workshop inventory is managed and the work area is kept clean.

Requirements for the Role

• Qualification: Must be Level 3 qualified (NVQ, City and Guilds, or IMI Qualification) in LCV Vehicle Repair and Maintenance.
• Experience: Proven experience carrying out diagnostic and service repairs on Commercial Vehicles.
• Knowledge: The ability to correctly identify worn and faulty components in line with DVSA Standards.
• Licence: A current, full UK driving licence for the relevant vehicle classes.
