A leading education provider in the UK is seeking an experienced A-Level Law and Politics Teacher to join their team. This full-time position, covering for maternity leave, is based at the Reading College campus until January 2027. Candidates should have a degree in law and ideally experience teaching A-Levels. Activate Learning are looking for an A-Level Law and Politics Teacher to join our established teaching team at our Reading College campus. This role is to cover maternity leave. We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals with the ability to inspire to deliver teaching on our A Level Law and Access Politics programmes, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to our dynamic learning environment.

Alternatively, this could be an ideal development opportunity for a newly qualified teacher or graduate in politics or law looking to get into teaching.
This is a full-time, fixed-term role covering maternity leave, based at our Reading College campus until January 2027. We would consider part-time and flexibility for the right candidate.
We are looking for people who can act as role models for our students and ensure that they leave us with not just their professional qualifications, but the attributes required to progress in the world of work. A genuine interest in working with and developing young people is a requirement.
Successful candidates will have an appropriate professional qualification at Level 4 or above (Degree) in law, though no subject specific politics qualification is required.
Whilst previous teaching experience is required, a teaching qualification is not. We will support you to develop your teaching skills and acquire teaching qualifications while working with us. It would be highly desirable to have experience teaching A-Levels specifically.
Your communication and interpersonal skills will be outstanding and support your ability to deliver interesting and purposeful lessons to a diverse range of learners. You will also have strong organisation skills coupled with the ability to prioritise workloads and will benefit from being part of a supportive team, working in a varied and interesting role with a variety of opportunities for career development.
