Job summary

Study Group at Leeds International Study Centre is seeking a Tutor to help deliver teaching programmes in line with our education strategy and to support students across the Centre.

You will design and develop teaching materials, deliver modules, assess learners, maintain the VLE, and collaborate with the Student Experience Team and registries. A Bachelor’s degree is required, with a Masters or PhD welcomed, and prior UK higher education teaching experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject is required.
• Masters qualification is desirable.
• PhD will be particularly welcomed.
• Experience of teaching in UK higher or further education and preferably a teaching qualification and experience of working with international students.

Responsibilities

• Design, development and delivery of teaching modules.
• Deliver across modules or within a subject area; contribute to student assessment.
• Prepare module examinations and provide feedback to students.
• Update and maintain the VLE and collaborate with support teams.
• Log attendance and maintain student engagement records; prepare reports.
