Job summary

Dovetail & Slate Ltd seeks an experienced Law Lecturer to deliver sessions to learners in further education, guiding them toward their qualifications. You will plan lessons, deliver engaging content and assess progress as part of an established team.

With strong legal expertise and a passion for teaching, you’ll adapt materials to meet diverse learner needs and help students progress to their next steps. Prior teaching or FE assessment experience is welcome, and support is available to develop

Qualifications

• Strong subject knowledge and experience within the legal sector.
• Ability to engage and motivate learners at a range of levels.
• Experience in planning, delivering, and assessing to curriculum standards.
• Willingness to work towards a teaching qualification (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Delivering law sessions to learners at a range of levels.
• Planning, preparing and delivering lessons in line with the curriculum.
• Assessing and monitoring learner progress and providing constructive feedback.
• Adapting teaching and learning materials to meet individual learner needs.
• Supporting learners to achieve their qualifications and progress onto their next steps.
