About Laurel House

Laurel House is a brand new independent special school in Sevenoaks, Kent catering to young people aged 5 to 16 with Autism, similar SEND, and social, emotional and mental health needs including high levels of anxiety, trauma and self‑harm. The school provides a nurturing, therapeutic, and stimulating environment adapted to each pupil’s individual needs so that they feel safe, secure and valued at all times. A trauma‑informed approach is applied throughout all aspects of school life.

The school offers a full academic pathway underpinned by vocational programmes, entry–level qualifications and Functional Skills up to GCSE Level. Bespoke, personalised curricula, a comprehensive therapy offer and practical and off‑site activities help pupils develop independence and life skills.

Teaching Role
