Soho House is seeking a Laundry Assistant to join the housekeeping team. You will manage washing, drying, pressing and folding of linen, towels and guest items, while keeping the laundry area tidy and efficient.

You will operate laundry equipment safely and assist with inventory, stock control and guest requests. Prior experience in a busy venue is preferred; reliability and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in a busy venue or similar environment is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and guest-focused approach.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced setting and follow instructions.

Responsabilités

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, press, and fold linen, towels, uniforms and guest laundry.
• Operate washers, dryers, irons and presses safely and efficiently.
• Inspect items for stains or damage and report or treat as needed.
• Maintain an orderly laundry room and stock levels.
• Handle guest laundry and dry-cleaning requests with care.
• Monitor inventory and distribute clean linen and uniforms.
• Adhere to health, safety and hygiene standards with chemicals.
• Assist with stock counts and laundry supplies.

At Soho House, the Laundry Assistant plays a vital role in the housekeeping team, ensuring all linen, towels, uniforms, and guest items are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. Working within the laundry department, you will be responsible for operating laundry equipment, sorting and processing items, and ensuring smooth daily operations.

The Laundry Assistant will support the wider housekeeping and operations team by maintaining efficiency, cleanliness, and organisation within the laundry area.

What we are looking for...

A successful Laundry Assistant for Soho House will ideally have up to 2 years’ experience in a busy high-profile venue and a natural flair for first class service. You’ll be reliable, friendly and happy to be a key part of the team that strives for success.

• Previous experience in a laundry, housekeeping, or similar environment is desirable.
• Knowledge of laundry operations and fabric care preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
