Barchester Healthcare Limited is seeking a Bank Laundry Assistant in Eastbourne. This casual, part-time role offers flexible hours to support our care home residents by keeping clothing and bedding clean and fresh, contributing to a comfortable home environment.

You will sort, wash, dry, and iron laundry, helping to maintain a high standard of presentation and care. Training will be provided, and hours will vary to cover annual leave or sickness.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a casual, part-time role offering flexible working. As a Bank Laundry Assistant at a Barchester care home, you’ll help to make sure our residents receive quality care and support in the best possible surroundings. By making sure each resident has clean clothing and bedding, you’ll be playing your own part in helping everyone to feel comfortable and at home. The role of Laundry Assistant involves sorting, washing, drying, ironing and contributing to the overall look and feel of the home. It’s a great way to get a sense of what it takes to keep everything running smoothly in our homes and it could open up other opportunities as you develop.
