Job summary

Arriva Kent & Surrey Limited in Tunbridge Wells is seeking a motivated Trainee Bus Driver to begin a rewarding career. You’ll join the Arriva Training School for full paid training to obtain your PCV licence, followed by mentoring on the depot’s routes that serve local communities.

The role starts with training pay and progresses with experience. Initial pay during training is £12.71 per hour, rising to £12.71 first 9 months, then £16.85 per hour; weekends/overtime reach £17.87 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• Have been driving for a minimum of 6 months.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• Can pass a drug and alcohol test.
• Great people and customer service skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts.

Responsibilities

• Drive scheduled routes safely to transport passengers.
• Maintain high levels of customer service and assist passengers as needed.
• Adhere to company policies and safety regulations.
