Job summary

A global service provider for vehicle manufacturing is seeking a Launch Quality Engineer in Liverpool. You will manage supplier-related quality issues, ensuring robust problem-solving and collaboration in an agile environment. Candidates should have manufacturing experience and a strong understanding of 8D methodologies. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential. This role provides an opportunity to work on exciting electric vehicle architectures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering
• Strong knowledge of 8D specifically
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience
• Ability to manage stakeholders effectively
• Excellent communication skills with external suppliers
• Experienced problem solver and strong advocate of lean manufacturing
• Experience / awareness of product launch

Responsibilities

• Lead closure of supplier quality issues for new models.
• Create plans to drive zero incremental audit score.
• Assess significant quality issues during pre-build activities.
• Lead cross-functional problem solving as part of the squad.
• Develop relationships to ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Maximise supplier technical assistance influence.
