Job summary

A leading tech consultancy in London seeks a Network Engineer to drive the redesign and automation of trading infrastructures. The successful candidate will engage in hands-on engineering, working closely with trading teams to enhance network performance, resilience, and scalability. A strong background in trading environments and network automation, with skills in Ansible and Arista technologies, is essential. Responsibilities

• Contribute to the re-architecture of trading network infrastructure.
• Design and deploy network solutions following network-as-code principles.
• Participate in production support for trading network environments.

Skills

Experience in trading or electronic trading network environments

Hands-on expertise with network infrastructure and routing

Exposure to network automation or infrastructure-as-code practices

Strong understanding of IP networking, routing and multicast

Troubleshooting skills including packet-level analysis

Education

CCIE certification or equivalent hands-on experience
