Job summary

AMF Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Machine Operator for a permanent position in the Huddersfield/Brighouse area. The role focuses on safety, quality, and productivity while following Environmental, Health, Safety and Sustainability policies and procedures to produce quality output on time and at low cost.

The job requires training and development, carrying out production checks, and working as part of a team to meet department and customer deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to correct procedures.
• Ensure that all documentation is completed on time.
• Adhere to safe working practices at all times.
• Perform safety checks to ensure department integrity and effectiveness.
• Ensure adherence to 5S in the department.
• Transfer to other areas of the department as requested.
• Keep machines in good working condition and report major maintenance issues.
• Comply with Health & Safety at Work regulations and company policies.
• Wear PPE as required.
• Operate extrusion of PTFE and other materials.
• Manual handling as part of the role.
