Job summary

Village Hotels is seeking a Night Food & Beverage Cleaner for the Glasgow area to refresh and reset venues after hours. You will work from 11pm to 7am, in a small team, cleaning the Pub & Grill, Bar, kitchens and meeting spaces to ensure a spotless morning wow factor.

You will perform deep cleans, assist with ad hoc tasks, and follow COSHH and safety guidelines while maintaining high hygiene standards. The role is on-site and full-time across 5 nights out of 7.

• No specific years of experience required, but good attention to detail is essential.
• Ability to work nights and as part of a small team.

Responsibilities

• The Big Reset: Deep cleaning the Pub & Grill, Bar, and Meeting spaces; ensure floors, tables and public areas gleam.
• Kitchen deep clean: sanitise main kitchen areas to support morning service.
• Details: check washrooms, restock supplies, manage equipment.
• Safety: handle cleaning materials safely per COSHH and maintain health & safety on the floor.

We are looking for a Night Food & Beverage Cleaner to join our late night crew. If you are a natural night owl who loves getting stuck into a physical job, throwing on a great playlist or podcast, and seeing instant results from your hard work, this is absolutely for you.

The Role Outline: Your Shift at a Glance

Working from 11pm to 7am (full time, 5 days out of 7), you will be the driving force behind our morning \"wow\" factor. You will take total ownership of cleaning and resetting all our Food & Beverage spaces: the Pub & Grill, the main kitchens, the Bar, and our Meeting & Events rooms.

You are not doing this on your own. You will be working alongside two other brilliant night team members, cracking on, supporting each other, and getting the job done safely and efficiently.

Your Remit: What You Will Actually Be Doing

• The Big Reset: Deep cleaning the Pub & Grill, Bar, and Meeting spaces. You will ensure the floors, tables, and public areas are absolutely gleaming.


• The Kitchen Deep Clean: Tackling the heart of the hotel. You will work safely to sanitise the main kitchen areas, maintaining our strict hygiene standards so the chefs can hit the ground running in the morning.


• The Details: Checking the washrooms, responding to ad hoc cleaning needs, restocking supplies, and managing your equipment so nothing is missed.


• The Safety First Approach: Handling all cleaning materials safely in line with COSHH regulations and keeping a sharp eye on health and safety across the floor.
