Job summary

Lexington Medical, Inc. is seeking a Laser Welding Operator to support laser welding for medical devices. This full-time temporary role covers first shift hours and involves setting up welding equipment, executing welds, and maintaining quality documentation in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform laser welding operations ensuring precision, quality, and compliance with industry standards.
• Setup and operation of laser welding equipment.
• Perform testing and keep records for welded assemblies.
• Comply with policies, guidelines and safety and regulatory requirements per Lexington Medical Quality System.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the laser welding operations.
• Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to Management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and quality control, to ensure seamless integration of laser welding processes into overall manufacturing operations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
• Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.

As the Laser Welding Operator, you will play a crucial role in the laser welding operations for our medical devices. The ideal candidate will have some experience in laser welding processes or similar fabrication methods and a strong understanding of quality standards.

This is a full-time temporary position with the potential to convert to a regular employee. This is a Monday to Friday, 1st shift (5:30AM-1:30PM) position.Responsibilities:

• Perform laser welding operations ensuring precision, quality, and compliance with industry standards.
• Setup and operation of laser welding equipment.
• Perform testing and keep records for welded assemblies.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to manipulate small hand tools and assemble small mechanical parts
• Ability to use hands to handle, or feel.
• Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach within hands and arm’s length, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25pounds.
• Specific vision requirements include close vision and color vision.
