Job summary

Oliver Rae Ltd is seeking a Laser Operator in Bilston to join our manufacturing team. You will set and operate a BLM LT722 laser, read engineering drawings and band tubes, while ensuring paperwork is accurate and complete.

The role features rotating shifts on Monday to Friday, 06:00-13:30 and 13:30-21:00, with pay £14.72-£15.72 per hour depending on experience. A licence for an overhead crane is required (inhouse accepted). After 12 weeks, you may be employed directly by the business.

Qualifications

• Overhead crane licence required (inhouse accepted).

Responsibilities

• Setting and operating a BLM LT722 laser.
• Visually inspect finished product.
• Operating Overhead Crane (must have copy of licence but can be inhouse).
• Read engineering drawings.
• Banding tubes.
• Ensuring paperwork is correct.
