Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Physics/Engineering; PhD/EngD near completion; ability to articulate technical work in reports and talks; proven experimental competence.

Responsibilities

• Design and perform laser-marking experiments on medical-grade materials.
• Develop and optimise ns/ps/fs laser processing parameters for durable markings.
• Analyse surface morphology, chemistry, and corrosion resistance.
• Prepare samples and characterise with optical microscopy and SEM.
• Collaborate with project partners and disseminate findings in reports and publications.
