The Opportunity

A leading global infrastructure private equity platform is expanding its London investment team and is seeking to hire three exceptional Investment Associates as part of its 2026 growth plan.

This is a rare opportunity to join one of the most established and consistently top-performing infrastructure investors globally, with a multi-decade track record of deploying capital into iconic, large-scale, mission-critical assets across energy, digital, transport, utilities, and environmental infrastructure.

The firm operates as a true owner-operator investor. Associates are given immediate responsibility, direct exposure to investment committee, and the opportunity to work alongside some of the most respected investors in the asset class on high-conviction transactions at scale.

The Role

As an Investment Associate, you will be a core member of the deal team, responsible for driving transactions from origination through execution and into active ownership.

You will work on complex, high-value infrastructure investments globally, partnering closely with senior investors, management teams, lenders, and external advisors.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building and reviewing detailed financial models for large-scale infrastructure transactions
• Leading commercial, financial, and strategic due diligence workstreams
• Preparing investment committee materials and transaction memoranda
• Supporting deal structuring, valuation, and negotiation processes
• Working with portfolio companies post-acquisition on performance, strategy, and value creation initiatives
• Engaging directly with management teams, co-investors, and financing partners
• Supporting origination initiatives across sectors and geographies

This is a true investing seat, not an execution-only role. Associates are expected to develop strong investment judgement, sector insight, and ownership mentality from day one.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for top-decile investment talent with exceptional analytical ability, judgement, and work ethic:

• 1.5-4.5 years’ experience in:
• Investment banking (M&A, Infrastructure, Power & Utilities, Energy Transition, TMT Infrastructure)
• Infrastructure private equity or infrastructure-focused asset management
• Top-tier strategy consulting with heavy financial exposure
• Outstanding financial modelling and valuation capability
• Strong academic track record from a top university
• Commercial mindset with genuine interest in infrastructure investing
• Ability to operate in lean, high-intensity deal teams
• Intellectual curiosity, humility, and strong ownership mentality
