Job summary

A healthcare provider in Watford seeks a LARC nurse to join their team for 4 hours per week with flexible hours. The candidate must have a current UK professional registration and a Diploma of the Fault of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (DFSRH), and possess experience in fitting IUDs and implants. Qualifications

• Current UK professional registration.
• Subscription to relevant professional bodies.
• A valid letter of competence in intrauterine techniques and in subdermal implants.
• Complete a minimum of 2 hours CPD per year.
• Recent experience of fitting minimum of 12 IUD/S a year.
• Knowledge of primary health care.
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver LARC services in line with national and local guidance.
• Ensure clinically appropriate contraceptive procedures are conducted safely.
• Provide a professional client-facing service.
• Input clinical data onto the clinical system.
