Our approach to AI

Used well, AI can be an excellent development tool — whether that’s accelerating repetitive work, exploring solutions, assisting with debugging or improving documentation. However, we’re looking for developers who use AI as a tool, not as a substitute for engineering knowledge.

You should be comfortable understanding, explaining, debugging and developing the code you work with without relying on AI assistance.

As part of our application process, there will be a technical assessment where some tasks will be completed without the use of AI tools. We’re much more interested in how you think and approach problems than whether you can memorise syntax.
