Role Overview

To teach English to students in a one-to-one or small group setting, for those students who require extra interventions, including English as an additional language.

Responsibilities
  • Excellent classroom practitioner with a clear understanding of how children learn.
  • Ability to tutor a range of English and language-based programmes.
  • Ability to use a range of classroom management and teaching strategies to engage students and promote progress.
  • Recent experience of teaching students in KS3 and KS4.
  • Provide targeted support for students requiring additional interventions.
Qualifications

Remuneration and Benefits
  • NJC8 £26,824 FTE per annum, £20,696.02 pro-rata per annum.
