Job summary

Northumberland National Park Authority is seeking a Landscape Recovery Farming & Forestry Officer to help deliver landscape-scale nature recovery. Based at the Hexham office with travel within the park, the role supports collaboration with farmers, foresters and landowners and offers hybrid working options.

You will help develop and deliver our Landscape Recovery project, building strong relationships, leading meetings, creating land management plans and coordinating program administration.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of upland land management.
• Experience working with farmers, foresters, landowners and project partners.
• Experience leading meetings and coordinating multi-stakeholder initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the Landscape Recovery project.
• Build strong relationships with farmers, foresters and partners.
• Lead farmer meetings and shape project direction.
• Develop farm and forest land management and natural capital plans.
• Coordinate administration, reporting, risk assessments and grants.
