Role – Landscape Planner

Location – Cheshire

Salary – £DOE

Our client, a well-established environmental consultancy is seeking an experienced Landscape Planner to join their team in Cheshire. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in landscape planning and assessment, who is ready to take ownership of projects and contribute to a wide range of work, from residential and commercial developments to infrastructure schemes, strategic landscape planning, and environmental assessments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead and manage landscape planning projects from inception to completion
  • Conduct detailed site surveys, field assessments, and visual analyses
  • Prepare high-quality reports, planning submissions, and technical assessments
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including ecology, arboriculture, and planning specialists
  • Advise clients and stakeholders on landscape considerations and mitigation strategies
  • Ensure work aligns with relevant policy, guidance, and professional standards
QUALIFICATIONS AND KEY SKILLS
  • Degree or postgraduate qualification in landscape architecture
  • Chartered or on the Pathway
  • Demonstrable experience in landscape planning, LVIA, or LCA projects
  • Proficiency with standard office software; GIS and design software experience is advantageous
  • Comfortable undertaking fieldwork and site visits across the region
