A local government authority in Macclesfield is seeking a Landscape Officer to shape development and manage planning consultations. The ideal candidate has a degree in Landscape Architecture or similar, and enjoys working as part of a team to deliver excellent customer care. This full-time position includes flexible working options and a commitment to professional development.
The Environmental Planning Team is a multi-disciplinary team of professionals within the Planning Department, providing specialist advice on landscape architecture, design, arboriculture, ecology and heritage with a mission to improve and protect the varied and high quality environments of Cheshire East. As a Landscape Officer, you will help shape development to secure the best landscape outcomes by managing a case load of planning consultations and appeals.

The ability to travel throughout Cheshire East and a full UK driving licence are required. This job is offered on a full time (5 days per week) basis.
