Job summary

Thalia Waste Management is seeking an experienced Landfill Supervisor to lead daily operations and ensure safe, compliant performance at our landfill site. You will supervise operatives, coordinate activities, and maintain strong environmental and safety standards on site.

The role emphasizes hands‑on leadership, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with regulators and contractors to keep the site running efficiently while upholding high safety standards.

Qualifications

Certificate of Technical Competence Level 4 or equivalent.
IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent.
Experience in waste/landfill regulatory environments.

Responsibilities

Coordinate daily landfill site activities ensuring safe and compliant operations.
Supervise site operatives and coordinate schedules.
Oversee waste drop‑off, loading and unloading activities.
Operate mobile plant and on‑site vehicles as required.
Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental policies.
