Job summary

Albert Goodman is a reputable Chartered Accountants, Tax Consultants and Financial Planners firm seeking a Manager or Senior Manager for its Landed Estates team in the South West. You will advise high-net-worth individuals, landed estates and rural property clients on inheritance tax, trusts, and wealth structuring, whilst leading advisory projects and nurturing long-term client relationships.

Based in Taunton or Bristol, you will influence strategy, develop business, and shape the service

Qualifications

• CTA and/or TEP qualifications required or advantageous.
• ACA or ACCA qualifications are desirable but not essential.
• Strong background in private client tax advisory services.
• Experience advising high-net-worth individuals, landed estates, trusts, or rural property clients.
• Excellent technical grounding in inheritance tax, capital gains tax, succession planning and trust taxation.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build trusted adviser relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a portfolio of landed estates and high-net-worth individuals.
• Lead technically complex tax planning across personal tax, trusts and estate planning.
• Provide bespoke tax advisory services on inheritance tax, capital gains tax and wealth structuring.
• Lead advisory assignments with practical, commercially-focused solutions.
• Build relationships with clients, advisers, solicitors and land agents.
• Identify planning opportunities while ensuring compliance with evolving tax rules.
• Review and oversee tax compliance matters when required, ensuring accuracy.
