Job summary

Survey Solutions is seeking a Surveyor for its Thames Valley office, covering land, measured building and underground utility surveys. The role involves independent fieldwork, data processing, and mentoring junior staff, with occasional overtime and weekends.

The ideal candidate has 2–3+ years in surveying, experience in topographical and measured building surveys, and proficiency with laser scanners/CAD data. A full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years in surveying with independence on projects.
• Experience completing topographical surveys of varying scales.
• Experience with laser scanners or traditional methods.
• Proficient in processing raw survey and CAD data.
• Knowledge of traversing and GPS networks.
• Strong commitment to a long-term career with Survey Solutions.
• Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Complete topographical and measured building surveys independently to a high standard.
• Contribute to large projects with team members of varying ability.
• Provide guidance to junior staff and survey trainees onsite and in the office.
• Process multi data sets from instrumentation to a high standard.
• Demonstrate competence in traversing and GPS networks; ensure safety on sites.
