Job summary

A leading civil engineering firm is seeking a Land Surveyor in Twyford, UK to support the Senior Land Surveyor in establishing site survey control networks. Responsibilities include conducting various surveys, analyzing data using specialized software like AutoCAD and Trimble, and preparing survey reports. Candidates should hold an HND/degree in Land Survey or Geomatics, possess excellent AutoCAD skills, and be familiar with GNSS receivers among other tools. Qualifications

• HND/degree in Land Survey, or Geomatics, or equivalent.
• Experience within a similar role.
• GVC Drone qualification.
• Driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
• CSCS card is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support Senior Land Surveyor in maintaining site survey control network.
• Undertake land/topographic/hydrographic surveys using specialist equipment.
• Analyse data using plans, maps, charts, and software.
• Prepare survey drawings and reports.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers for project implementation.

Skills

Excellent knowledge of Trimble and Leica total stations

Excellent AutoCAD skills

Proficient in survey software

Good communication skills

Solid report writing skills
