Job summary

Dalcour Maclaren is seeking a Land Surveyor to travel nationwide, undertake surveys, and set out works for client projects. You will process data, produce maps, and collaborate with teams to inform coastal, land, and infrastructure programmes.

The role requires experience with topographical surveys, strong IT skills, and a willingness to travel. You will mentor junior staff and contribute to project records while maintaining equipment integrity and client communications.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to site across the country.
• Experience using Trimble hardware or software.
• Understanding of topographical surveys and data collection.
• Strong IT skills and data management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Travel to sites across the country to undertake surveys and set out works.
• Process survey data in line with departmental best practice.
• Produce maps and plans for fast-paced projects, on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with the team and liaise with data sources (Land Registry, Ordnance Survey, etc.).
• Maintain and calibrate survey equipment and follow policies.
• Work independently on projects and mentor junior staff.
• Provide regular client updates and manage data records.
