Job summary

Climate17, a recruiter for renewable energy, is seeking a Land Outreach Associate to support early land acquisition for solar and storage projects in the US. You will identify landowners, research properties and initiate conversations on potential opportunities, passing qualified leads to the Land Engagement team.

Preferred candidates have a bachelor’s degree and 1–2 years in land outreach or related fields, with strong research and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–2 years in land outreach, land acquisition, oil and gas, renewables or related fields.
• Experience with ERCOT or Texas land markets preferred.
• Strong research skills to identify landowners and property data.
• Confident making outbound calls and building rapports with stakeholders.
• Driven, proactive and positive with persistence for outreach.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify landowners and research properties for project opportunities.
• Make outbound calls to introduce project opportunities to landowners.
• Build detailed owner profiles for the Land Engagement team.
• Identify and qualify land opportunities with ownership and acreage data.
• Maintain records of contacts and outreach actions.
• Pass qualified leads to the Land Engagement team.
• Conduct ongoing market and landowner research across the pipeline.
• Follow up consistently and keep next steps organized.
