Job summary

Carrington West is recruiting a Land Assembly Assistant in Birmingham to support land referencing activities across a major infrastructure programme, using maps and spatial data to understand ownership and requirements. The role suits those with land referencing experience or a relevant Geography/GIS background, with strong data management, stakeholder liaison, and ability to meet deadlines.

3 days per week in the office; salary £29,037.50–£36,340 DOE with 15% flexible allowance; deadline 15

Qualifications

• Knowledge of land referencing and land assembly.
• Strong analytical, research and data management skills.
• Comfort with maps, spatial information and detailed datasets.
• Good organisation and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage actions, chase information and deadlines.
• Proactive, driven and interested in developing within land and property.

Responsibilities

• Support land assembly and land referencing activities across the programme.
• Review land referencing information provided by the supply chain.
• Work with mapping, spatial and land ownership data to understand ownership and land requirements.
• Support land rights, easements, temporary land acquisition and utilities processes.
• Assist with compulsory purchase and conveyancing-related notices.
• Coordinate workshops, record actions and progress them.
• Liaise with stakeholders and suppliers to obtain updates.
• Check and maintain accurate data and records.
• Support future land referencing requirements across the wider programme.
• Manage priorities and deadlines in a busy project environment.
