Overview

A Lamination Technician / Process Technician / Laminator Operator / Laminator is required for a packaging company based in Wakefield.

The Lamination Technician / Process Technician / Laminator Operator / Laminator will be responsible for machine setup, production output, and shift supervision, ensuring high-quality materials are produced to exacting standards.

The successful Lamination Technician / Process Technician / Laminator Operator / Laminator will have experience in the packaging industry, specifically flexographic printing machinery, and be within a commutable distance to the Wakefield site.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate lamination and flexographic printing equipment, ensuring correct substrates, adhesives, and film combinations are used according to job specifications.
  • Monitor print and lamination quality throughout production, making precise adjustments to tension, registration, and temperature to maintain consistent adhesion and appearance.
  • Carry out routine maintenance and material changeovers, ensuring minimal downtime and compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
  • Collaborate with printing and finishing teams to meet production targets, maintain accurate run records, and ensure all products meet customer and ISO quality standards.
