Job summary

Racing Post is seeking a dynamic Lambourn Correspondent to cover Lambourn and the wider racing community. You will produce news, features, newsletters and interviews, visiting yards and stables to source stories for the Racing Post platform.

The role requires excellent racing knowledge, strong writing, and a proven track record of scoops. A driving licence and willingness to relocate to Lambourn are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Write, edit and record compelling news, features, newsletters, interviews, stable tours and other content for the Racing Post newspaper, website and app.
  • Write a weekly/fortnightly email newsletter focused on Lambourn news, developments and gossip.
  • Daily regional tipping focused on Lambourn runners.
  • Be a regular source of ideas for news and feature items from your local patch.
  • Produce audio-visual output as part of editorial content packages.
  • Ambassador and representative for the Racing Post fostering good relations with racing professionals in the region.
  • Any other duties as required.
