Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council is recruiting casual Hospitality and Catering Assistants for The Waterfront venues at Rother Valley Country Park. Roles involve serving customers, food and beverage service, and event support in a lakeside setting.

The postings are seasonal, with zero contracted hours per week but opportunities across weekends, bank holidays, conferences, and events. Uniforms are provided, and safety and hygiene requirements apply.

Formación

• Experience in catering and customer service.
• Basic cash handling and safety/security duties.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 and Food Allergens certification (or willing to undertake).

Responsabilidades

• Serve customers face-to-face and operate electronic tills at multiple venues.
• Prepare and serve hot and cold food and drinks, including barista coffee.
• Assist with food preparation and cooking to approved standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all areas and ensure a safe environment.
• Support catering and bar facilities for conferences and events.
• Take deliveries of stock and replenish displays.
