Job summary

A construction recruitment agency is seeking a Labourer with a valid Green CSCS Card for a key infrastructure project in Birmingham. The role involves loading, unloading, and assembling materials while adhering to safety standards. Ideal candidates will have previous experience on HS2 and hold a Safety Critical Medical. The position offers competitive pay rates of £14.28 to £20.00 per hour, with the possibility of overtime. This is a two-month contract, requiring commitment to work Monday to Saturday.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload and load building materials, tools, and equipment.
• Support mechanical trades on site.
• Move and assemble materials, tools, and equipment.
• Assist with the installation of structures and components.
• Clean and prepare construction sites.
• Follow instructions from supervisors.
• Adhere to safety standards.
• Lift and carry heavy items.
• Operate hand and power tools.
• Perform duties as assigned.

Discipline: Labourer with CSCS

Location: Birmingham - HS2 Project

Duration: 2 Months

PAYE Direct Rates:

1st 40 Hrs Monday-Friday - £14.28 per hour + £1.72 / hr holiday pay = £16.00 per hour,

Over 40 Hrs Monday - Friday & Saturday / Sunday- £17.85 per hour + £2.15 / hr holiday pay = £20.00 per hour

Hours of work:

10 Hours per day Monday to Friday

5 Hours on a Saturday

Total 55 hours per week - with possible extra hours
