Job Description
We’re looking for a motivated and hands‑on Labourer to join our on‑site team at Worthy Down Barracks, Winchester, SO21 2RG. In this varied and practical role, you’ll provide support with a wide range of general and semi‑skilled tasks, both indoors and outdoors, helping to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient environment for our clients and teams.

Responsibilities
- Carry out general and semi‑skilled tasks as directed by your line manager.
- Maintain work areas to a high standard of cleanliness and safety.
- Support the movement and setup of furniture, stores, and other equipment.
- Undertake minor repairs and maintenance using hand tools or power tools.
- Assist with outdoor duties such as cleaning external areas, clearing footpaths, or gritting during winter months.
- Handle waste and recycling correctly to support environmental standards.
- Follow all Health & Safety and COSHH procedures at all times.
- Attend training sessions, team briefs, and reviews to support personal and professional development.
- Deliver excellent customer service to colleagues, clients, and site users.
What You’ll Need
- Previous experience in a similar hands‑on or facilities support role.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of the safe use of hand and power tools.
- Strong awareness of Health & Safety procedures.
Desirable
- Valid CSCS card or equivalent certification.
- Forklift truck licence.
- Experience working in a military or secure environment.
