A leading construction company is seeking a Labourer to assist in various responsibilities across construction sites in the UK, ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained. Applicants should be self-starters with experience in house-building and a valid CSCS card. Qualifications

• Experience on large-volume domestic house-building sites.

Responsibilities

• Carry out works on site as instructed by the Site Manager.
• Inspect and ensure all on-site signage is clean.
• Take personal responsibility for health and safety.
• Ensure protection of material is maintained.
• Maintain compound and keep plots under construction tidy.
• Segregate and recycle all waste according to guidelines.
• Segregate and recycle all waste in accordance with BDW group guidelines.
• Check show-home gardens and public open spaces weekly and remove any rubbish that has blown onto these areas.

What you’ll be doing

Within the construction environment you will assist in buying materials, managing projects, ensuring health & safety and customer service across about 400 developments throughout the UK. You will work on a range of sites, from brownfield starts to the adaptation of existing buildings.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all works on site as instructed by the Site Manager and in line with BDW Standards and procedures
• Inspect all on‑site signage and ensure it is clean and in good repair
• Take personal responsibility for health and safety on site and report any breaches to the Site Manager
• Ensure protection of fixed material is carried out by the subcontractor in line with BDW procedures and is maintained to the last possible moment
• Maintain compound and welfare facilities and keep all plots under construction tidy
• Walk round all plots daily and ensure no surplus materials remain on site
• Segregate and recycle all waste in accordance with BDW group guidelines
• Check show‑home gardens and public open spaces weekly and remove any rubbish that has blown onto these areas
