Laboratory Technician

Overview

Pure Staff Ltd are currently recruiting for Laboratory Technician for our client based in Tewkesbury, who specialise in the production and distribution of Milk products.

This is a fantastic opportunity for Laboratory Technician wanting to grow their skills and be a part of a friendly team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sampling and microbiological testing of products to maintain quality control.
• Analyse and interpret results, detecting any irregularities to ensure compliance with company and legislative standards.
• Keep laboratory areas organized, adhering to all COSHH, Health & Safety, and Food Safety protocols.

Desirable Skills

• Previous laboratory experience in the dairy or food industry.
• Knowledge of microbiology, food hygiene, and quality control standards

Working Hours

5 of 7 days a week rotating from Monday - Sunday.

Weekdays: Weekday shifts rotate between 05:30, 06:00, 07:00 & 12:00.

Saturday: Saturday at 08:00, Sunday at 06:00.

Pay & Benefits

£14.54 per hour with a minimum paid 37.5 hours per week.

30 days per annum annual leave (pro rata) + an additional 3 days annual leave once 3 years' service is complete (once permanent).

Weekly pay and payslips available through an online portal.
