The Role

We are seeking a Product Development Scientist to join our Electronic Materials team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new products aligned with our strategic goals, conducting research and formulation of electronic materials, and supporting product testing and compliance.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop new products for the Electronic Materials market in line with company strategy.
  2. Create and maintain application testing protocols and SOPs for equipment.
  3. Perform daily laboratory tasks as required.
  4. Research and formulate new and existing products.
  5. Collaborate with internal and external customers to advance product development and implementation in PCB and other Electronic Materials segments.
  6. Apply scientific knowledge to solve problems.
  7. Provide regular updates on project progress and communicate with project leaders.
  8. Offer technical and customer support when necessary.
  9. Ensure product compliance and safety standards are met.
Qualifications / Experience
  1. Practical experience in a formulation laboratory environment; training will be provided if needed.
  2. Minimum 5 GCSEs (A*-C / 4+) including science subjects, and A Levels in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, or related disciplines. A degree in a science-related subject is preferred but not essential.
  3. Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  4. Ability to develop test methods, analyze results, and communicate findings professionally.
  5. Strong teamwork skills.
  6. Ability to take ownership of tasks and work independently, receptive to feedback.
  7. Ambitious, eager to learn, and proactive.
