Job summary

Breedon Group is seeking a Technician to support aggregate and asphalt testing at Cragmill Quarry & Asphalt Plant, Northumberland. You will report to the Technical Manager and will be provided a business-use van to visit customer sites.

The role involves carrying out product testing, data interpretation, and reporting non-conforming material with corrective actions. A full driving licence and commitment to health and safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills to liaise with stakeholders, including customers, laboratory personnel and Technical Supervisors.
• A full driving licence is essential, as you will be required to drive a company van.
• Maintain awareness of site practices and quality procedures, taking action when they may adversely affect product quality.
• General housekeeping responsibilities.
• Previous laboratory experience in testing aggregates and asphalt is desirable but not essential; full training provided.

Responsibilities

Job description

Department: Technical (Product Quality and Development) Location: Cragmill Quarry, Northumberland Description We are currently seeking a Technician supporting the Aggregate and Asphalt Testing at our Cragmill Quarry & Asphalt Plant, Northumberland. You will report directly to the Technical Manager. A Business use Van will be provided to allow mobility to our customer sites.
