Role: Laboratory Systems Engineer (Field Service Engineer - Electro-Mechanical)

Location: Newcastle Region - Covering 3 NHS hospitals under the Gateshead Trust (Gateshead, Sunderland, and South Tynes)

Hours: Full time - Field-based

Pay: £200-£250 per day PAYE basic (excluding holiday pay) / £265.27-£331.59 Umbrella (including holiday pay)

Contract: 12-month contract - Inside IR35

• Degree, HNC/HND in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent demonstrable experience
• Proven background in field service, diagnostic, or technical support

• Deliver high-quality IT and applications support to end users
• Conduct training sessions for laboratory staff on system use and best practices
• Ensure consistent service excellence and contribute to improved patient care outcomes
