Job summary

Hudson Shribman in the South East is seeking a Laboratory Operations Coordinator for an on-site, six-month temporary role. The position offers a salary around £30,000 per year and involves applying lab skills to coordinate testing, samples and related technical activities.

You will work with internal teams and external providers to ensure timely completion of laboratory and testing activities, while maintaining records and promoting health, safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Degree or background in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Industrial/Process Chemistry or similar.
• Practical laboratory experience within a chemical, manufacturing, formulation or testing environment.
• Experience in formulation, blending or analytical testing advantageous.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Confident working independently and taking ownership of activities.
• Experience with LIMS or electronic laboratory notebooks would be useful.

An excellent opportunity for an early-career chemist to join a dynamic and supportive team applying their lab skills to a more office-based role.

£30,000 salary equivalent / c£15.38 per hour PAYE

South East | TEMP – 6 months | On-site

This is a varied, more project-based role combines laboratory knowledge with coordination of testing, samples and technical activities. You will work with internal teams and external providers to ensure laboratory and testing activities are completed accurately and on time.
